Morgan County Jail Chaplain and Minister Program

The Morgan County Jail Chaplain is Michael Dale. His staff is comprised of chaplain assistants and numerous volunteer chaplain assistants from various socioeconomic, religious and cultural back grounds. Chaplain Dale and his staff are responsible for approximately 280 inmates in our Jail and Work Release facilities. The chaplains department provides one on one counseling for inmates as well as staff in the Administration Division, Jail Division, Communication Division, Civil Division and Law Enforcement Division. They also conduct religious services, baptismal services and marriage ceremonies. The chaplain’s staff is available twenty-four hours a day to provide bereavement counseling for inmates that lose their loved ones while incarcerated. |

How to Visit an Inmate Minister visits are on a first come first serve basis. Inmates can have one 30 min one on one minister visit every other week. Visits will be from 1pm to 3pm. Female Visits: 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month Male Visits: 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month Ministers who wish to have a visit must fill out an application to be approved to visit. |
