Fancy Savage Nite aka SAVAGE
Savage is a 12 yr. old Anglo-Arabian gelding.
Savage started his endurance career in 1998,
to date he has over 1500 recorded
miles in distance events. (This doesn't count all
the training miles.)
Savage had a great year in 2003. Completeing 2,
1 day/100 mile rides, along with completeing
the 250 mile Shore to Shore ride in Michigan.
Going 50 miles a day for 5 consecutive days
Shore-to-Shore.
Starting with a pretty sunrise over Lake Huron, to the sunset over
Lake Michigan. Wow, we sure love this sport.
Savage is the Alfa-man here at WJ Ranch. (Hey, with a
name like Savage, what did you expect?) He has definitely been
the biggest challenge I have ever had with horses, but
I am glad I stuck to my guns and didn't give up on him.
Savage is very loved here at WJ Ranch, although I can't
seem to find anyone else who can say they Love him.
I look forward to many more years aboard this awesome
horse!
