Shark is a 18 yr. old Arabian gelding. He is our
old guy on the farm. Shark started his endurance
career in 1997, to date he has over 2000 recorded
miles in distance events. (This doesn't count all
the training miles.)
In August of 2003, he completed the Michigan 250 mile
Shore-to-Shore
endurance ride. Going 50 miles a day for 5 straight days.
From the sunrise over Lake Huron beach to the sunset over
Lake Michigan beach. Life is good.
Shark and Robert were the
2002 AERC National,
MiddleWeight Reserve Champions.
Shark is a good ol' boy, although when you turn him
around to head back to the barn or to the trailer, you
better hold on.
Shark has turned out to be an awesome horse (and friend)
to Robert. He is very loved here at WJ Ranch, we look
forward to many more years with our Shark out of water!
